These terms apply to the Klerku API and its developer portal at api.klerku.com. By creating an API key or buying hours you agree to them.
The API turns Albanian and English speech into text. Machine transcription makes mistakes: review transcripts before relying on them, and do not use them as the only basis for legal, medical or safety-critical decisions.
You sign in with Google or Apple. Keep your API keys secret: do not publish them or ship them inside client apps. You are responsible for requests made with your keys. If a key leaks, revoke it in the portal.
A single request can contain up to 3 hours of audio, and an account can run 2 requests at a time. We may suspend keys or accounts used for abuse, fraud or attacks on the service.
You keep all rights to the audio you send and the transcripts you receive. You must have the right to upload the audio, including any consent required from the people recorded under the laws that apply to you. We use your audio only to produce the transcript you asked for (see the Privacy Policy).
Do not use the service for anything unlawful, to infringe others' rights, or to disrupt, overload or reverse-engineer the service.
We aim to keep the API available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. After a quiet period the first request can take longer while the service starts.
The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
We may update these terms. We will post changes on this page and update the date above; using the service after a change means you accept it.
